Alpine Man
The Alpine Man is a statue that stands on Main Street welcoming visitors to Smithers. It was originally stationed at the Edelweiss Motel in Rock Creek, British Columbia. The motel was destroyed in a fire in 1973, and after a temporary location at Christina Lake, the Alpine Man was moved to its current home.
